Tehachapi is a community at the elevation of 4,000 to 7,000 feet enjoying four seasons with crystal clear skies and virtually no air pollution.
Tehachapi is an Indian name meaning lots of water and oaks. The mountains surround this quaint little town of 7,000 people. Sunset magazine rated this jewel one of the top ten places to live in California.
